2013/2014 Organizational Team Goals

  • Set the standards of commitment, expectations and team values required to play AAA for both the player and parent. (Ongoing)
  • Players will be taught how to compete at the necessary level to support their development. (Ongoing)
  • Players will be taught how to play with and without the puck in all three zones. (Ongoing)

  Major Pee Wee 

  • Introduce, teach and develop the individual skills and tactics that are appropriate for this stage in a player’s development.
  • Introduce, teach and develop the team or group skills and tactics that are appropriate for this stage in a player’s development.

 Minor Bantam

  • Introduce, teach and develop the individual skills and tactics that are appropriate for this stage in a player’s development.
  • Introduce, teach and develop the team or group skills and tactics that are appropriate for this stage in a player’s development to ensure that every player fully understands their roles and responsibilities within the team system.   
  • Introduce the principles of off- ice conditioning and proper nutrition for elite level athletes.

 Major Bantam

  • Introduce, teach and develop the individual skills and tactics that are appropriate for this stage in a player’s development.
  • Introduce, teach and develop the team or group skills and tactics that are appropriate for this stage in a player’s development to ensure that every player fully understands their roles and responsibilities within the team system.   
  • Ensure each player is following a proper off- ice conditioning program and understands and adheres to proper nutrition guidelines.
  • Introduce the concepts of mental preparation
  • Introduce players and parents to the business of Junior and College hockey and prepare them for the reality of being scouted and recruited for the OHL, NCAA and CCHL.

 Minor Midget  

  • Introduce, teach and develop the individual skills and tactics that are appropriate for this stage in a player’s development.
  • Introduce, teach and develop the team or group skills and tactics that are appropriate for this stage in a player’s development to ensure that every player fully understands their roles and responsibilities within the team system.   
  • Maintain the further development of players in off- ice areas, specifically, conditioning, nutrition, mental training.
  • Introduce players and parents to the business of Junior and College hockey and prepare them for the reality of being scouted and recruited for the OHL, NCAA and CCHL.

Major Midget

  • Introduce, teach and develop the individual skills and tactics that are appropriate for this stage in a player’s development.
  • Introduce, teach and develop the team or group skills and tactics that are appropriate for this stage in a player’s development to ensure that every player fully understands their roles and responsibilities within the team system.   
  • Maintain the further development of players in off- ice areas, specifically, conditioning, nutrition, mental training.
  • Continue to prepare players and parents for the business of Junior and College hockey and prepare them for the transition to junior hockey or collage hockey.
